Welcome to another of my online painting tutorial demonstrations for you to follow and learn from.
During this tutorial, I recreate one of the sketches from my local walks sketch book. This scene is of a typical old Mid-Ulster homestead. Scenes like this are all too fast vanishing from our local landscape. The title is ‘The Hamil House on Gort Road Brantry’. Gort Road is in a local area known as The Brantry, an area steeped in ancient myths legends and folklore. The Brantry still has a thriving bardic culture. The little lake in the distance, just visible between the trees in the painting, is known as The Friary Lough. It has no public access and is very difficult to get to on foot. In the middle ages it had a Friary and was the secret home of the Armagh Franciscan order. During my demonstration I will be teaching you lots more new painting tips and techniques.
My online tutorials are very informative and are filmed in great detail. This is the most unique and innovative way to learn to paint today and can be accessed immediately worldwide from the comfort of your own home.
